The book chronicles the history of the Macedonian Community in Newcastle and Hunter Valley. It captures an important part of our community’s history and will benefit it for generations to come. The authors have a written record of the first Macedonians who come and settle in Newcastle, how was established the community, church, centre and sporting teams that have been an integral part of bringing us together.
In the book “Cetvrta Generacija” over 100 families or their descendants who arrived before the Second World War tell their life story supported by family photographs some older than 100 years.
The book is written in easy to read Macedonian in 472 pages and contains storiess from Macedonian families from Bitola, Capari, Velusina, Gavato, Lavci, as well as from Lerinsko, Kostursko and other villages of Macedonia.
