Restaurant Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark has been voted the world's best restaurant. Head chef Rene Redžepi has been largely attributed to this success. In the web and video links below he explains his Macedonian and Danish background.

Skopje 2014 City Project

Skopje is a different city to what it once was. In 1963 it was hit by a devastating earthquake, bringing its examples of historic architecture to rubble. It was rebuilt not in its original form, but with slabs of concrete using the then-communist fashion. The Macedonian government is now undertaking a project to rebuild the old iconic buildings that once stood in Skopje such as the national theatre, and making some new additions. Below is a video of the project, which is currently under construction.

Bobby Andonov on Australia's Got Talent

A 15 year old Macedonian kid from Melbroune Bobby Andonov was a huge favourite on the Australian TV show "Australia's Got Talent". Check out his video below, where he sings a brilliant version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. The second video is Bobby on the Zoran Dzorlev show in Macedonia singing Zajdi Zajdi. Bravo Bobby!
